A diamond geezer spills the beans.

I have no idea what Bob Diamond is going to come out with when he appears before the Treasury Select Committee today but the pundits are talking about this being the possible beginning of the end for London as a major financial market. Back in the late eighties, when financial services was seen as the golden future for this country, I was apt to point out that a nations wealth was it's agriculture, industry, fishing, and such like. We turned our backs on such real endeavours at our peril. What did a thick ex-bargeman like me know?  Chickens coming home to roost babe. Chickens coming home to roost.

Something here about the bankers and Iceland. Could read this video several ways: one, to show limited ways people can affect change over the bankers. Two, to indicate that capitalism has more cards to play before it dies. Either way, consider why Iceland has been kept out of the mainstream news. When I commented to one anarchist comrade that the Bone Blog had censored discussion of protests in Iceland he replied that capitalist controlled media had ways of controlling its opposition, and what shall be permmitted as alternative arguments.I have not researched the source of these videos, and care not for the usual leftist method of condemning the source rather than the content.
