Many a true word.
I was being a bit flippant when I posted on here recently that if the SAS are deployed on the streets we could end up with them "taking out" all kinds of people. It doesn't seem so amusing now. On the Today Program this morning Met Commissioner Sir Paul Stephenson implied that only police restraint had prevented protesters being shot dead when they threw paint at the royal car last night. Looks like we're in for stormy weather.

Yup it won't be long before the water cannons are dusted off, the pepper spray cannons imported, rubber bullets permitted and Armed response units are made more visible at demos (as in France and recently Belgium).
Rioting Slum dwellers, casseurs, anarchos, cheated students, tax dodgers targetted, Royalty insulted with words they haven't heard since the seventeenth century,baton wielding cavalry Manchester Style, open class war.
Its certainly warming up and given the culture of arrogance and legal protection the cops have given themselves I don't think it will be long before the cops shoot some poor fucker.
The recent consequences of police shootings in France and Greece may give us an idea of what is to come if that happens. Looking at the film footage of the recent match it was pretty evident that the cops have run out of ideas and were consistently outsmarted. If they maintain the current tactics they're going to lose a lot of face. They'll defiitely up the anti and the hardware..so if you go out in the woods today prepare for a big surprise.
