Capitalism: Last Few Days. Everything Must Go.

I'm off to the Borders closing down sale. Stock up on copies of Kierkegaard and Mott The Hoople CDs. The death throes of capitalism will have it's downside no doubt - but there's going to be some blinding bargains on the High Street.

Having "enjoyed" actual living Marxist-Leninism when I lived in the German Democratic Republic, I'm amused by the ways the word -capitalism- is used by people with a view to plunging society into a collectivist monoculture.

Try substituting the word "free enterprise" in lieu and read a text again.

I's saddened to think that anyone would mistake me or this blog as having anything to do with Marxist-Leninism or any kind of monoculture. I'm obviously not making myself clear. However I'm glad that at least you are "amused".
