Six points for the transformation of the nation.

On and on rolls the juggernaut that is the Class War 2015 general election campaign. With a manifesto that is nothing more or less than a six point plan for the transformation of the nation the old warriors intend to put a chicken on everyone's table and class warfare firmly back as the political talking point. Already both the Guardian and Independent have given space to the emergence of Class War as a political party. Neither of these esteemed organs are probably the reading matter of choice for most of the proletariat but any publicity etc. The six point plan ?
DOUBLE DOLE.
DOUBLE PENSION.
DOUBLE ALL OTHER BENEFITS.
50% MANSION TAX.
ABOLISH THE MONARCHY.
ABOLISH PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
So nothing too contentious. Forward with the people!

Good stuff eh? The one man band party, more centralised than any Leninist outfit, highly censored discussion on policy, but forgiven perhaps, as it is only a stunt. Yet it comes across as anarchists for more of nanny state. As for the message behind the stunt - for all good political stunts ought to have a message - we have nothing more than the image of the working class as a dependency class. Please give to these poor helpless lower classes or they will throw stones and shout 'Wanker'. So as a stunt to raise political awareness,it fails, and conveys something between the mischievous antics of a former public schoolboy with an upper second in sociology and the impractical dreams of old Labour. Does anyone remember the days when anarchists spoke of the need to remove the state, the politicians, bosses etc. and make room for the creative forces of working men and women? None of this lot.Just give us a few more hand outs - we are the revolution.

Wait till they get a sniff of power, they'll soon become "realistic", "pragmatic", and rich.

Doc normally talks a right old load of shite but on this occasion I agree with him. We shouldn't be asking for more crumbs - we should be demanding everything.

Anonymous,
I am doing a large amount of things. My cynicism is well founded after 40 years of class politics from the anarchist perspective. Seen too many left heroes rise on the backs of working people. I publish lots of books, am involved with active campaigns for prisoners, health care ethics, animal welfare, and numerous other campaigns which are censored by Lib Com, the Bone Blog and more. I put in around 16 hours a day in work which is central to anarchist politics. But I don't seek any personal gratification and recognition. What do you do Anonymous? I see you have learned the Class War response by calling opponents wankers. You are quick to learn mate. But have you ever responded to an argument, put a rational argument together? As for the shite I speak, well some might be, but it is well sourced. Want to know where I am coming from? Read Paragraph 7, of the old Solidarity As We See it. Believe me it still makes sense, even if you think I talk shite. Because that section about meaningful action is all about working men and women, not their would be leaders. I wish I had more time to discuss all this, but I am getting on and we are in the middle of a war.

Not really relevant to this discussion, but you should have seen me on TV last week. I was bloody marvellous. Fan mail by the bucketful. Yes. I know how to clown it up. But I did get one meaningful point across which a few bright eyed reporters covered.

ah.so the doctor doesnt like to be called out.i must admit if what you say is true you are an an admerable human being.as for mei have been so pissed off by left wing politics that my home is anarchism.i dont do that much but turn out for pickets ie against atos etc.my mental health is not toom good so im limited sometimes to shouting wanker.just hope you are for real we mioght like and admire ian bone but are by no means sycophants.and i do disagree with a lot of things.as for the creative forces of working men and women of course i agree with that but i am dismayed at the forces against them.

Anonymous, Let me be frank. I don't have a good opinion of myself and feel downright depressed with my failings. Forty years in class politics, tons of work, and not much to show for it. However, I have read most of your comments and have tried to respond to you in a positive and friendly way in the Bone blog, but they were blocked. So please accept my apologies.
